He walks into the centre of one of three Baseball Diamonds in Eckhart Park. In the Baseball Diamond there are four pieces of 4”x 2” pieces of wood at different lengths. Each piece of wood has been covered with black hockey tape and written numbers on them with white marker pens. The numbers are documentation and referring to the amount of people who died or were born in that day, and the world’s population at that time in different times of the day in a one month period. He tapes two of the pieces of wood together and holds this in his right hand. Then he walks around in a clockwise direction for the whole 7 hours and 30 minutes. The circle is limited by the limits of the two of the pieces of wood that are taped together so he is always at the edge of the limits of the material. As he walks around he picks up the longer one of the two other pieces of wood and he places it onto his left shoulder with he’s left hand. Then as he walks around again he tries to pick up the other piece of wood and hold it in his left hand. He is sometimes able to pick up both of them at the same time, sometimes the one on his shoulder would fall off, then he would drop one or both of them off and walk around again and try again. He does this for the whole 7 hours and 30 minutes of the performance.
